Mount Washington is primarily a ski resort. Most of the village is pedestrian, with parking on the periphery or at the lodges. Our townhouse has the huge bonus of car access and parking, AND it is still ski-in, ski-out, minutes from the Hawk Express Chairlift! We are only a 10 minute walk to the alpine lodge with shopping and dining.
SUMMER is great on the mountain with activities such as lift-accessed mountain biking and hiking, 2.3km zip tour, and lots more. There is year round hiking in Strathcona Park with over 250,000 hectares of hiking trails, lakes and mountains. This is a very family, community-oriented mountain - very casual and friendly.
We are located a 2 minute walk to the Hawk or Green chair

FUN FACTS
The mountain was named after Rear Admiral John Washington (Not George Washington) who was the official Hydrographer in the British Royal Navy. It is home to the Vancouver Island Marmot, one of the planet’s most endangered species. It is adjacent to Strathcona Provincial Park, BC’s oldest provincial park and Vancouver Island’s largest at 250,000 hectares. The sharp pointy mountain peak in the view directly south is Albert Edward Mountain.
